Fans Saddened by Unfavorable Aaron Gordon News on Friday

While the Denver Nuggets won Game 6 of their NBA playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder and forced a do-or-die Game 7, they got some bad news during the contest.

Aaron Gordon, who has been pivotal for the Nuggets in the playoffs so far, suffered a hamstring injury late in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game and was eventually replaced in the final minute of the 119-107 win.

In his postgame presser, Nuggets interim coach David Adelman addressed Gordon's injury and admitted that the concern for Denver's starting forward is "so high."

"It's nice to have two days to get guys right going into a Sunday matinee," Adelman stated. "Concern for Aaron is so high. He's played through a lot through this whole season. We'll see where he's at."

Now, on Friday, more updates on Gordon's status have emerged. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the 29-year-old "has been diagnosed with a left hamstring strain and his status is in doubt for Game 7."

While there's no final decision yet on Aaron Gordon's status, the fact that he's doubtful has sparked disappointment and concern among the Denver faithful. After all, the Nuggets really need to be at their best if they want to beat a Thunder team led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

"This sucks," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Terrible news."

"YEAH IM DONE [expletive]," a frustrated supporter shared.

A fan remarked, "Terrible news he’s been amazing. Hope he plays."

"This rly sucks for Denver," a follower admitted.

"The Nuggets are thin as it is....this would be a devastating blow," a sixth social media user noted.

Gordon has averaged 14.5 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists in the series against the Thunder so far. That being said, a potential absence is definitely going to be a huge blow to the Nuggets.

It remains to be seen what the Nuggets will do should Gordon ultimately be ruled out for Game 7. For now, fans can only wait and hope for the best.
