ALAN Connell is hopeful that his firing forwards can produce in one more game this season as the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) face Brentford in the Professional Development League playoff final.

As the AFC Bournemouth development squad beat Burnley 4-3 to reach the final, Daniel Adu-Adjei scored his 24th goal in 15 games, Remy Rees-Dottin his fifth in five and Ashley Clarke his 16th of the season.

Adu-Adjei has been particularly potent and showed his ability to take the ball past the goalkeeper and finish into an empty net from a tough angle at the Vitality Stadium.

Rees-Dottin’s goal was an easy finish after a well-worked move from the free-scoring Cherries.

Speaking about his forward unit after the game, Connell told the Daily Echo: “We do a lot of work of how we arrive in the box.

“And Remy was there again to finish off a lovely slick move and Dan does what he does.

“He's obviously a handful, whether he drops down or whether he runs in behind and shows his pace and power to nick it past the goalkeeper and finish with composure.

“So pleased that they both kept their runs going and let's hope there's one more game that they do it again.”
