Patrick Dorgu said there was a "really angry" feeling inside the Manchester United camp following their 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.
Marc Cucurella's second-half header was enough to secure all three points for the Londoners, condemning United to an 18th Premier League defeat of the season in the process.
The Reds, who are now winless in eight league games for the first time since 1990, thought they had taken a first-half lead when Harry Maguire turned home a brilliant Bruno Fernandes cross, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside.
For United, full focus now switches to Wednesday night's Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao. Dorgu insisted full focus at Stamford Bridge was on trying to get the better of Chelsea.
"Everyone is really disappointed," Dorgu told MUTV, reflecting on the mood inside the dressing room. "We were not really thinking about the Europa League final; we were thinking about winning this game.
"Everyone is really angry and disappointed in the dressing room."
United made an enterprising start at Stamford Bridge, enjoying plenty of possession and probing in and around the Chelsea penalty area. However, they were undone with just under 20 minutes to go when they conceded what Dorgu described as "a really cheap goal".
He continued: "I think we started really well, we were controlling the game in the first half, and then we had a similar situation where they scored a really cheap goal.
"We then found it difficult to equalise and score a goal."
Looking ahead to the clash with Spurs, the Dane added: "We have to recover well and then we have to show fighting spirit in the final. We have to look each other in the eyes, give everything back to the club and try and win the trophy."
