The Golden State Warriors suffered a brutal series loss in the playoffs, ending their NBA title hopes.
Golden State defeated the Houston Rockets in the first round and wound up losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round.
If they were to defeat the Timberwolves, Golden State would have played the winner of the Oklahoma City Thunder versus Denver Nuggets series.
Nevertheless, Golden State lost 4-1 against the Timberwolves.
After the playoff elimination, Kerr made an interesting public appearance.
The Warriors head coach was in attendance for the Golden State Valkyries' inaugural WNBA home game.

The Golden State Valkyries suffered an 84-67 loss in their first WNBA game.
Golden State was heading into their first-ever season, having been formed in the offseason with expansion draft.
The Valkyries have a chance to bounce back from the loss, set to play the Washington Mystics on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.
