Lille pair Jonathan David and Angel Gomes are set to be available on a free transfer
Manchester United are set to be busy in the summer transfer market, irrespective of whether they win the Europa League next week.
United take on Tottenham Hotspur in the final in Bilbao on Wednesday, with the winner punching their ticket into next season's Champions League.
Qualification for Europe's premier competition will be a welcome boost to the club's finances, while defeat in Spain will see the loser miss out on European football altogether next term.
United are keen to sign at least three priority signings this summer and would ideally like up to four new additions.
United are keen to improve their attacking firepower and the Manchester Evening News first revealed last month they are keen to sign Wolves' Matheus Cunha and Ipswich Town star Liam Delap.
A new midfielder is thought to be a priority this summer, too, with Casemiro's future up in the air and Christian Eriksen set to leave on a free transfer.
And while it wasn't necessarily a priority beforehand, Ruben Amorim hinted this week that he may look to sign a new centre-half if Leny Yoro is missing for an extended period of time.
The free agent market is something United could look to utilise this summer to strengthen their squad and there are quality options available to solve all three of those priority positions.
Up front, Lille forward Jonathan David confirmed this week he plans to leave the French club at the end of his contract next month.
The competition from some European giants will be fierce but the Canadian international has proven goalscoring experience in the Champions League, scoring nine times in the competition this season.
The 25-year-old has 25 goals in all competitions this term, eight more than United's current attacking options Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee combined.
In midfield, Angel Gomes is also out of contract at the French club - five years after leaving United. In that time, the 24-year-old has helped Lille win a French Super Cup, England under-21s win the European Championships, won his first England cap and gained Champions League experience.
He has been tentatively linked with a return to Old Trafford and would offer extra depth to their midfield options.
Similarly, at centre-half, there are two quality options available to United. Jonathan Tah said his farewells to Bayer Leverkusen last week, having helped the German side win an unbeaten domestic league and cup double last season.
The 29-year-old has been on United's radar and has been linked with Barcelona, but looks more likely to sign for Bayern Munich.
However, PSV's French defender Olivier Boscagli could offer an interesting alternative. The former France under-21 international has spent the last six years in Eindhoven and he looks set to win a second Eredivisie title with the club this weekend.
But he will leave at the end of his contract and has reportedly attracted interest from Real Madrid, as well as Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and Brighton. The 27-year-old is a left-footed centre-half and could prove to be a dependable option.
United have targets in mind but the free transfer market could be one they turn to as they look to spend within their budget.
