A heartfelt clip shared by the club on social media shows Jamie Vardy’s lasting impact on Leicester.
The 38-year-old is playing his final game for the club on Sunday, hosting recently relegated Ipswich Town.
The fixture will mark Vardy’s 500th appearance at the club and if he scores, it will be his 200th goal.
Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed how Leicester will help Vardy score to reach this momentous milestone.
He played a huge part in Leicester’s Premier League title-winning season in 2015-16, scoring 24 league goals.
This made him the second-highest scorer in the Premier League that season, alongside Sergio Agüero, and only one goal behind Golden Boot winner Harry Kane.

Given his momentous impact at the club after 13 years, the Foxes have shown Vardy messages from the fans as he bids farewell.
Jamie Vardy taken aback by ‘sweet’ Leicester fan message
One fan’s message was them showing Jamie Vardy their ‘Gymie Vardy’ pub and gym at the bottom of their garden, a project they had created during the pandemic that was fully kitted out in Leicester memorabilia.
The two children in the clip thanked Vardy, prompting a smile from the player.
Another fan’s video message said: “You’ve been amazing and I’m going to miss you. So thank you for everything. Wherever your next chapter is, I wish you the best of luck.”
The final fan message said: “A video from a loyal Leicester fan, Jimmy. I just want to say a massive thank you for everything you’ve done at the club.
“My late Grandad was a massive fan, a life-long fan of the club, but you were by far one of his favourite players. So much so, that he had you on his ceremonial booklet when he died.
“But that’s just a highlight of how much you affected one person’s life who supported the club.”
Vardy reacted with a sigh of disbelief, and said: “How sweet’s that?”
The clip summed up perfectly how much of an impact the striker has had at the club and what he means to the fans.
However, amidst the farewells, Leicester City supporters have also received a boost with the emergence of “elite talent” that is reportedly giving them hope and excitement for the challenges of next season.
