Although it’s not been officially confirmed, there’s a growing consensus that Celtic fans will be watching Greg Taylor at Parkhead for the final time.
Taylor’s contract expires at the end of the season and with Kieran Tierney returning to Celtic in the summer, the full-back will move down the pecking order.
Brendan Rodgers seems resigned to losing Taylor in the summer, who has been linked with a move across the city to join Rangers amongst others, but there are some who want him to stay.
The Scotland international has won it all while being a valuable asset to the club and Chris Sutton is hoping that is reflected by his reception at Celtic Park.

Chris Sutton thinks Greg Taylor will be given a great send-off
Goodbyes to players who have been part of a club’s furniture for a long time are all the rage at the minute.
Jamie Vardy will get one with Leicester City and Trent Alexander-Arnold received one from Liverpool fans when subbed on against Arsenal.
Alexander-Arnold was booed by large sections of the Anfield crowd and Sutton is hoping there isn’t the same sentiments amongst the Celtic faithful.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
“I hope he gets a good send off,” the former striker said in the Daily Record.
“You can’t tell fans what to think these days but you look at the disappointing reaction Trent Alexander-Arnold received from Liverpool fans the other day, when he got booed by a section of the support.
“I don’t think there will be anything like that for Taylor at Parkhead. The vast majority of fans appreciate the efforts he’s put in over the years and the role he’s played in the club’s success.”
When would Greg Taylor no longer be a Celtic player?
Of course, there’s still every chance that Taylor reverses his decision and signs a new contract, but it feels very unlikely.
He will still have one more game to play in the Scottish Cup final on May 24 but after that, it would be all over.
His contract officially ends on June 30, meaning he would be a free agent from July 1 and onwards.
Taylor could also sign a pre-contract agreement with another team in that period, meaning he would be a part of their squad from July 1.
