DEAN Huijsen will join Real Madrid after the conclusion of the Premier League season, AFC Bournemouth have confirmed.
The centre back has signed a six year contract with the Spanish giants after Madrid agreed to pay Huijsen’s release clause of £50million.
That fee will be paid in three instalments as Huijsen is set to play at the Bernabeu until 2030.
And the 20-year-old could be set to make his Madrid debut as soon as next month in the FIFA Club World Cup.
A statement from the club said: “Everyone at AFC Bournemouth is looking forward to working with Dean for the remaining two games of the Premier League season, before he embarks on the next step of his career.”
Huijsen has been a revelation for the Cherries this season.
He joined the club for £12.4m from Juventus in the summer, and while he started on the opening day at Nottingham Forest, he was largely limited to appearances from the bench initially, with a settled centre back pairing of Illia Zabarnyi and Marcos Senesi.

Since that game, he has played every minute in the league and FA Cup for Andoni Iraola’s side.
He has scored three goals, including in that game against Spurs, scoring what would turn out to be the only goal of the game after 17 minutes.
Huijsen opened the scoring for the Cherries in their 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, and drew Bournemouth level with Arsenal at the Emirates, as they went on to win 2-1 and complete their first ever league double over the Gunners.
His fine performances have drawn attention from some of the biggest clubs in the world, including a host of English sides.
But Huijsen has opted to sign for Real Madrid.
Hujisen is Amsterdam-born but made his Spanish international debut in March after impressing for the Cherries.
