Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed his team will be without a star player for Wednesday’s Europa League final.
The news will come as a boost to Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United, who hope to end a disappointing season with European glory.
Wednesday’s final in Bilbao will be played between two teams who have seriously underperformed in the Premier League this season.

Tottenham currently sit 17th in the league, while Manchester United sit just one point above in 16th.
Both teams are yet to hit 40 points in the league – a tally usually set for teams hoping not to be relegated.
Success in Spain would serve as a season-saver, though, with the winning team granted access to the Champions League, along with the chance to lift a trophy.
United face injury doubts over several players for the final, with Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro, and Diogo Dalot set for a race to be fit for the trip.
Amorim will lack the choice to start Joshua Zirkzee or Lisandro Martinez, with both players ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Kulusevski “out for a few months”
And Tottenham now face injury problems of their own, with Dejan Kulusevski the latest player to be ruled out.
The Swede limped off against Crystal Palace last week, with Postecoglou confirming on Wednesday that the player had undergone surgery and would not be available for the final.
“He has had surgery and it will put him out for a few months”, the Australian told the media before Spurs’ trip to Aston Villa.
Kulusevski joins James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall on the injury table, with all three players set to be sidelined for Wednesday’s match.
Postecoglou hopes to end Spurs’ 17-year wait for a trophy in Bilbao, but the injuries will provide concern over his team’s ability to create chances.
