Wolves are bracing themselves for a summer of busy activity coming in and out of Molineux, with one star in particular needing to depart.
Supporters are waiting patiently for Matheus Cunha to leave Wolves after announcing he wanted to exit before the 2024/25 season ends.
Manchester United are the likely destination for Cunha, who has scored an impressive 17 goals in all competitions for the Old Gold this term.
The Brazilian isn’t the only one who sees his future elsewhere, as Wolves duo Boubacar Traore and Tommy Doyle could leave Molineux in pursuit of regular first-team football.
They’re joined by struggling forwards Hwang Hee-chan and Goncalo Guedes, as well as one other player currently plying his trade out on loan.

Vitor Pereira must prioritise Ki-Jana Hoever’s Wolves exit
Ki-Jana Hoever is one player who looks destined to leave Wolves this summer. The right-back is currently on loan at Ligue 1 side Auxerre, where he’s made 30 appearances and amassed three goal involvements in 2024/25.
Last season, Hoever was on loan at Stoke City, showcasing his talent in the Championship for the Potters, and in the year before PSV took the 23-year-old temporarily.
Hoever, who joined from Liverpool for a £9 million deal in 2020, hasn’t made a first-team appearance at Molineux since a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in March 2022.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
According to L’Yonne Republicane, as relayed by Sport Witness, the Dutchman is set to return to Wolves this summer after playing his final game for the French side, leaving Pereira with a decision to make.
That should be an easy one, as Hoever sees his contract expire in 2026, and this could be their last chance to recoup a fee for him before he potentially leaves on a free transfer next year.
Wolves should only keep Hoever on one condition
Realistically, Hoever isn’t good enough to start for Wolves next season, giving him no choice but to exit if he wants regular first-team football.
That being said, captain Nelson Semedo is still negotiating a new contract at Wolves, and the club are running out of time to agree terms.
Pereira wants to keep Semedo, seeing him as a vital part of his squad, but if a lucrative offer comes in from the United States or Saudi Arabia, perhaps the 31-year-old would jump ship.
The only reason they should keep Hoever is if the Portuguese international leaves. The Dutchman could challenge Rodrigo Gomes and Pedro Lima for second choice, with Wolves needing to sign a new first-choice wing-back to replace their influential captain.
