Leeds United have been dealt a huge blow ahead of their return to the Premier League, with one of their star players reportedly being offered to other clubs.
Junior Firpo, who has become a fan favourite since arriving from Barcelona in 2021, is coming off a terrific season as the Whites clinched both promotion to the English top flight and the Sky Bet Championship title. He played 34 times, scoring four goals and claiming 10 assists as Daniel Farke's side left last season's Wembley heartbreak behind him.
The Dominican's contract at Elland Road expires in June, and question marks have been raised as to whether he will remain at the club going into the 2025/26 campaign. But if Corriere dello Sport are to be believed, Leeds should start preparing for life without the fullback.
AC Milan and Atletico Madrid have all been named as likely destinations for the 28-year-old, but it is claimed the player's agent met Lazio's sporting director, Angelo Mariano Fabiani, on Thursday.
The representative offered Firpo to the Serie A club, who are now reportedly keen to join the race for his signature.
Corriere also reports that a return to Barcelona could definitely be on the cards and that the defender is 'collecting offers' from elsewhere.
Firpo is claimed to be open to a move to Italy, but should it be Lazio, Marco Baroni must first decide on the futures of both Luca Pellegrini and Nuno Tavares.
