The 18-year-old forward is highly rated, and marks the first of several young talents expected to arrive at Old Trafford in the coming months.
The targeting of young players appears to be an influence of INEOS in the transfer strategy, with the owners keen to equip Ruben Amorim with a plethora of talents capable of breaking into the first team.
The manager has already showcased his willingness to throw youngsters into the mix, with Harry Amass, Tyler Fredricson, Heaven, Obi-Martin, and Toby Collyer playing parts this season.
And Manchester United have reportedly identified two more talents to add to the wish list this summer.

Manchester United looking at Boro brothers
According to United In Focus, United are plotting moves for Middlesbrough twins Anton and Bailey Palmer.
The 16-year-olds are very highly rated by Middlesbrough, and have also attracted interest from Chelsea.
Both players have featured extensively for the club’s under-18 side this season, with Bailey, the more attacking of the two, scoring four goals and providing three assists in just 12 appearances.
The brothers have also been selected for England’s under-17s, and have featured on the bench for Middlesbrough in the Championship.
Neither player has signed a professional deal with the club yet, which could present a chance for United to convince them their future lies elsewhere.
They will have to act quickly, though, with other clubs beginning to circle.
