With the NBA Draft coming up next month, several prospects are drawing increased attention as they navigate the pre-draft process. One standout name is former Duke Blue Devils star Kon Knueppel.
Knueppel was a standout during his high school career in Wisconsin before going on to help lead Duke to the NCAA Tournament Final Four this past spring.
As Knueppel garners significant interest from NBA teams, his younger brother, Kager Knueppel, is also making waves as he prepares for the next level.
This week, the official SLAM High SchoolHoops account spotlighted Kager’s performance at an early summer showcase. He delivered an impressive showing and caught the attention of scouts and fans alike.
"Getting buckets runs in the family. Kager Knueppel – Kon’s younger brother – was getting to it at Nike EYBL Session 2 today"
The headline name checking out the younger Knueppel brother was Arkansas head coach John Calipari. Calipari's Razorbacks are coming off a trip to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, where they eliminated Kansas and St. John's, before falling to Texas Tech 85-83 in overtime. Arkansas wrapped up a 22-14 season.
Kager, a 6-foot-8 forward from Wisconsin Lutheran, has been known as a proven deep threat, and even has more length than Kon. The Toledo Rockets were the first team to offer Kager a scholarship to the 2027 recruit.
