Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson survived a red card scare during the FA Cup final against Man City, before the Eagles star produced a superb penalty save.

Henderson was left sweating over a VAR decision after coming to the edge of his box and palming the ball away from the rapidly approaching Erling Haaland.

The VAR check followed for a potential denial of a goalscoring opportunity, with officials ruling whether Henderson handled outside his penalty area.

Henderson was ultimately given a reprieve and avoided a red card for the incident.

The England international would then come to Crystal Palace's rescue later in the first half to preserve their 1-0 lead, after Eberechi Eze's opener.

Henderson produced a superb penalty save from Omar Marmoush, after Tyrick Mitchell brought down Bernardo Silva in the box with a sliding challenge.
