Rasheer Fleming to the Blazers in the Latest CBS Mock Draft

In his latest mock draft, Cameron Salerno of CBS Sports slots in Saint Joseph’s Rasheer Fleming for the Portland Trail Blazers’ 11th spot in the NBA Draft. Fleming might be considered a bit of a stretch for Portland at 11, as CBS Sports’ own prospect rankings has him rated as the 21st pick. However, his incredible wingspan along with some buzz from the combine might see him in the lottery conversation.

Fleming had 14.7 points per game in his Junior year, but the stat that catches the eye is his 39% percentage from three point range. He added 8.5 boards, 1.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game.

Position: Forward

Height: 6’ 8” without shoes

Wingspan: 7’ 5”

Weight: 232lbs

Birthday: July 10, 2004 (20 years old)

Cameron Salerno:

Portland is a team in the West that can potentially take a jump during the 2025-26 campaign. Fleming has everything NBA decision-makers are looking for at the next level. Fleming is a plus shooter (39% on 4.5 attempts), possesses a 7-foot-5 wingspan and has defensive upside that could translate to the next level. His testing numbers at the NBA Combine helped his lottery case.

His versatility on defense and the three point shooting prowess he demonstrated last year at St. Joseph’s make him an intriguing prospect for the Blazers. He stock is rising after the combine, but other recent mock drafts have him going at the very end of the first round. Picking him at 11 would be a strong statement from the Blazers’ front office. If Fleming winds up in Portland, it might be after a trade that sees Portland move down a half-dozens spots or so.

Enjoy some highlights from Rasheer Fleming.

The first round of 2025 NBA Draft will take place on June 25th on ESPN. The 11th pick is Portland’s sole slot in the draft.
