Earlier this month,Sky Sport Switzerland reported that PSG are eyeing a summer move for either Illya Zabarnyi or Club Brugge’s Joel Ordoñez. Still, there’s a potential hurdle if they want to land the Ukrainian defender.
The key decision for PSG could revolve around Matvey Safonov’s future. He mightbe moved this summer—either sold or sent out on loan—especially if Gianluigi Donnarumma cements his place as the undisputed No. 1 by extending his contract.

On Thursday,The iPaper reported that Zabarnyi, a serious target for Newcastle and admired by Manchester City, is believed to have a starting price tag of around £50 million.
While no mention of other suitors in the report, the list should be growing considering the talent. A report fromCaughtOffside last November stated that although Zabarnyi recently signed a contract with Bournemouth through 2029, the club would be willing to listen to offers around £50 million.
The report also mentioned that Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurare set to battle for Zabarnyi’s signature.
