What has been said on Jack Harrison's future as Leeds United face big cash injection

Jack Harrison is set to return to Leeds United this summer, but his future at Elland Road remains uncertain following the Whites promotion back to the Premier League.

The 28-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan at Everton, making 71 appearances for the Toffees. As another season draws to a close, Whites boss Daniel Farke faces a decision over Harrison's future.

However, the winger has already outlined his desire to stay at loan club Everton ahead of their move into the new stadium. "I think with new ownership, new manager & going to an amazing new stadium, this is somewhere I want to be," he said in March.

"It would be exciting to be part of a bigger picture and fighting for European football again and silverware.

"With the size of Everton and this fan base, with how passionate they are, there's no reason why the club can't achieve that, and who wouldn't want to be part of it?"

As reported by the Athletic, Harrison’s estimated book value sits at around £2.75 million, meaning any fee that the club receive above that will go down as a huge profit for PSR. The Whites came close to selling Harrison for a £20million fee back in 2023 and a similar fee would be a welcome boost for the coffers.

With Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt also likely to depart, Harrison could command a fee greater than the combined total Leeds would receive for both youngsters.

That money could potentially be used to fund a permanent move for Manor Solomon, if approved.

LeedsLive understandsthat Farke is expected to make a decision during pre-season, once he has met and worked with Harrison - unless a substantial offer arrives beforehand.

If that happens to be the case, it's believed he will very likely move on. Farke has remained tight-lipped about the winger, leaving his stance unclear at this stage.

Everton boss David Moyes, on the other hand, has spoken highly of Harrison. "I always liked Jack when he was at Leeds," Moyes said in January. "I don't think anybody would question his effort or energy. I think he's probably lost some confidence and maybe a bit of lack belief.

"We need to bring that back, that might take a little bit longer."

Harrison, who is under contract until the summer of 2028, is currently valued at £13.4million by TransferMarkt.
