The former Manchester United star, 53, has never been one to mince his words with regards to the club at which he won seven Premier League titles - and this reaction was no different.
Man Utd's 1-0 loss to Champions League-chasing Chelsea was their 18th of the league campaign and saw multiple limp performances, including that of Hojlund.
Keane said on Sky Sports: "Hojlund tonight, he looked like the young kid from Chelsea (Tyrique George).
"He looked like he had just come out of the academy. His runs weren't right, his timing, his hold-up play.
"Again, if you're a striker playing for Man Utd… even for the whole team, one shot on target?"

Red Devils remain 'favourites' for Cuhna
A bit of positivity for Red Devils fans this morning...
In the wake of Arsenal's "late" hijack attempt, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has remained the rhetoric that Manchester United are "clear favourites" to sign Matheus Cunha.
The versatile attacking midfielder, who has a £62.5 million release clause, has been linked to a number of teams who are reportedly interested in acquiring the Brazil international, who has excelled in a lower tier squad this season.
“Man Utd remain very confident. Despite the rumours about other clubs – there’s always been a lot of interest in Cunha – Man Utd are the clear favourites. We expect Man Utd to advance on this one in the next days,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.

Delap latest
Chelsea are increasingly confident of landing Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap despite interest from Manchester United.
The England Under-21 forward, who has scored 12 Premier League goals, has a release clause of just £30million.
United are in the market for a new centre-forward but Delap, 22, is favouring a link-up with the Blues' boss Enzo Maresca, his academy coach at Manchester City.
Chelsea's current recruitment director Joe Shields was instrumental in Delap's move from Derby to join Man City's star-filled academy in 20219.
The signing of Delap would be seen as a huge coup for Chelsea as he is one of the most in-demand young players in this country.
He had a release clause of £40m but that has been reduced by £10m now the Tractor Boys have been relegated.

And United have been strongly tipped to lead the way for the 22-year-old.
But ex-England and Aston Villa frontman Gabriel Agbonlahor reckons WEST HAM would be a far better option.
Agbonlahor believes the former England Under-21 ace should take time to develop his game – before risking the cauldron of a club like the Red Devils.
He said: “If I was him, I wouldn’t be going there.
“I wouldn’t stay at Ipswich, I’d go to West Ham, go and prove yourself at West Ham, the next step.
“They need a striker, Evan Ferguson will go back to Brighton, it hasn’t worked out.”
