Aston Villa are heading back to the United States this summer
Aston Villa will return to the United States for the third successive summer for their 2025 pre-season camp.
Villa have announced they will play two fixtures Stateside, with a third to be added, and also confirmed a pair of friendlies before they depart.
Unai Emery’s side will take on MLS outfit St Louis City SC at Energizer Park on Wednesday, July 30 (7.30pm KO local time) before facing Nashville SC at Geodis Park on Saturday, August 2 (7pm KO local time).
Villa will travel to Germany just before heading out to the USA as they will take on Hansa Rostock at the Ostseestadion on Saturday, July 19 (4pm KO local time) as part of the 3. Liga side’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
Further pre-season fixtures will be added to the schedule and played after the annual pre-season opener at Walsall on Wednesday, July 16 (7.30pm KO).
Villa also went to the States last summer, when they were based in Washington DC and played matches against Columbus Crew, RB Leipzig and Mexican outfit Club América.
They visited the USA in 2023 too, where they played in a tournament that included Newcastle United, Fulham and Brentford.
