Wolves were in huge trouble at the start of the calendar year.
But the Portuguese has been a revelation, and has kept the club in the Premier League with ease in the end.
Wolves can already look ahead to next season.
There will be a big focus on getting the first-team squad prepared, and fans will be hoping Fosun can help Pereira kick on. Fosun use a self-sustaining model, so we’ll see if this proves to be a hindrance.
We all know at this point that Wolves love to sign young players with big futures – and it looks like another starlet has now entered their crosshairs.

In recent times, Wolves have had real success in the South American market.
Wolves bought Joao Gomes in January 2023, and the Brazilian is now one of the club’s best players.

There are also very high hopes for Pedro Lima, who arrived from Sport Recife.
But Wolves have now seemingly cast their net in another big producer of footballing talent – Argentina.

According to journalist Uriel Lugt, teenager Alvaro Montoro will leave Velez Sarsfield this summer – and Wolves are among the teams interested.
It’s stated he will be sold permanently.
There is also interest from Napoli, Borussia Dortmund and most intriguingly Benfica, who are, of course, managed by former Wolves head coach Bruno Lage.
It is stated the player is unhappy over his lack of minutes.
Wolves set to land another gem?
It’ll be interesting to see if Wolves can beat off the competition to sign Montoro, who has made 36 appearances for Velez’s first-team so far.
Lage’s Benfica could be a genuine threat, as Benfica are a huge club and have played host to some top Argentinian players previously, such as Angel Di Maria, Pablo Aimar and Javier Saviola.

But Wolves – who are also after Brazilian gem Riquelme Fillipi – will fancy their chances.
Pedro Lima looked like he would join Chelsea last year, but Wolves managed to steal in and win the race.
The project at Wolves was more in line with what Lima wanted, and hopefully, Montoro may feel there’d be a greater chance of playing regular football sooner if he moved to Molineux.
