Bradley: Hoping to Win More Trophies Under New Contract

Most talk around [Liverpool](https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com/) over the last two weeks or so has, understandably, centered on right-backs. With Trent Alexander-Arnold officially announcing his intent to leave the club at the expiration of his contract over the summer, it really is all we can talk about: Trent’s departure and who might fill his role.

To that end, Conor Bradley has just signed a new contract with the club, ensuring that at least one familiar face - and one that most fans are excited to see step into a more prominent role for the club - will be sticking around to compete for that starting spot. The [Northern Irishman sat down with the official site](https://go.redirectingat.com?id=66960X1516590&xs=1&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.liverpoolfc.com%2Fnews%2Fconor-bradley-interview-new-lfc-contract-story-so-far-and-wanting-more&referrer=sbnation.com&sref=https%3A%2F%2Fliverpooloffside.sbnation.com%2F2025%2F5%2F18%2F24432467%2Fliverpool-fc-bradley-hoping-to-win-more-trophies-under-new-contract-premier-league-title) and gave a wide ranging interview to talk about the new contract and his excitement about the future.

A lot of it is generally boilerplate athlete speak, but it’s still quite good to hear moments like this one, where Bradley outlines his ambition to kick-on and contribute to more success on the pitch.

> “I think the whole point of playing football is obviously to win trophies and be successful. So the more of them we can win, the better it will be for me and the whole team. Hopefully if we can keep doing that it’ll be a good next few years at the club.”

The whole interview is worth a peruse, especially the space where Bradley outlines individual areas of growth for his game as well as comments on how much he’s enjoyed playing in Arne Slot’s system.

For now, it’s just good to have someone of his talent wanting to continue to ply his trade on Merseyside. Here’s hoping he can remain fit and that he can compete and push whomever else the club might bring in at right-back.
