Leeds United have been named in the pursuit of soon-to-be West Ham free agent Vladimir Coufal, and it’s an aspect of transfer business that the club has to tap into well this summer.

As much as the club’s finances are going to look much healthier now that Premier League football is returning to Elland Road, the 49ers will still have to be prudent in their spending.

That looks to be the case with talkSPORT reporting of Leeds being one of a few clubs keeping tabs on West Ham right-back Vladimir Coufal, who is out of contract this summer and confirmed as leaving.

The 32-year-old would be a shrewd way to add depth at full-back, and there are others in the Premier League that could be available for free that Leeds ought to explore.

Michael Keane, centre-back – Everton

Everton centre-back Michael Keane is one of multiple at Goodison Park that is currently due to see his contract expire in the summer, unless offered fresh terms by the Toffees owners.

Having turned 32 this year, Keane has vast experience of the Premier League, and in particular the bottom half of the division too, through his time at Everton and Burnley.

A seasoned defender capable of defending his box well, a key component Leeds are going to have to get right next season, as well as a very strong aerial presence at both ends standing at 6ft3in.

In 12 league appearances this season, Keane has notched three times for the Toffees, including last weekend at Fulham.
