Manchester City were edged out by a single goal in the 2025 FA Cup final by Crystal Palace.
The Blues dominated the opening exchanges at Wembley Stadium but found ourselves behind when Eberechi Eze fired home on the counter attack.
Palace were perhaps fortunate to keep 11 men on the pitch soon after when Dean Henderson clearly handled the ball outside the area under pressure from Erling Haaland, but City’s protests were waved away after a VAR review.

And a frustrating half was compounded when Omar Marmoush saw a penalty saved, with Haaland and Jeremy Doku also denied by excellent Henderson stops.
City continued to pile on the pressure after the break with substitute Claudio Echeverri almost marking his senior debut with a late equaliser, while at the other end Palace had a second goal ruled out for offside.
But a frenetic clash at Wembley Stadium ultimately only needed one goal to decide it, with Palace taking home the FA Cup for the first time.
