Following the Milwaukee Bucks' playoff exit in the first round against the Indiana Pacers, rumors have been heating up about the future of superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Over the last few years, Antetokounmpo has been mentioned in trade rumors. However, this offseason there is legitimate reporting connecting him to a potential trade.
According to a recent report from ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania, Antetokounmpo is "open-minded" to the idea of being traded by the Bucks.
"The two-time NBA MVP has not made any firm decisions on his Bucks future after the franchise's third consecutive postseason exit in the first round, but, for the first time in his career, Antetokounmpo is open-minded about exploring whether his best long-term fit is remaining in Milwaukee or playing elsewhere, league sources told ESPN," Charania wrote.
While there is no guarantee that Milwaukee will actually trade its franchise player, the option is very real.
Antetokounmpo recently took to social media to speak out after a post was made about him. It was shared that he has led the NBA in total points over the last 10 years. He responded with a short and sweet message.
"Not a scorer just a basketball player," he wrote.
Fans quickly took to the comments section of Antetokounmpo's post. Many of the comments had to do with the trade buzz surrounding him.

"Tell Milwaukee you want to be here my guy," one Lakers fan wrote.
Another fan chimed in, "GIANNIS IS OFFICIALLY ACTIVE ON BUCKS TWITTER."
"A basketball player for the OKC Thunder in the upcoming year 2025," another comment read.
A fourth fan commented, "You know what you gotta do. Come join Curry."
"Come to the Nets and NYC," yet another comment read.
Throughout the course of the upcoming offseason, Antetokounmpo is going to be one of the best most talked about names in the NBA. Simply seeing these comments on a post that had nothing to do with a trade shows that to be true.
