Liverpool are set to turn their attention towards pursuing a deal for Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez, having already completed a swoop for Bayer Leverkusen ace Jeremie Frimpong, according to Caught Offside.
The Reds have work to do this summer to refresh their options in the full-back areas amid the departure of academy graduate Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid as a free agent. They earmarked one of the best right-backs in the world in Frimpong as their ideal replacement. Liverpool triggered his €35 million (£29 million) release clause, and the Dutchman is set to put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Anfield.
Arne Slot and his entourage are still keen on reinforcing the opposite flank and a new left-back is expected to be their next move in the transfer market.

Slot wants at least two new full-backs next season
As per the report from Caught Offside, Kerkez is Liverpool's "next top target" after Frimpong, and the Merseyside outfit are expected to push on with their interest soon.
Bournemouth are holding out for fees in the region of £45 million for their left-back, but the Reds reportedly do not see this as a major issue. It would place Kerkez among the most expensive players in history in his position, though Liverpool believe they can reclaim some of the money by selling Kostas Tsimikas.
Slot is eager to sign a long-term heir to Andy Robertson, 31, who has shown signs of inconsistent form over the course of the 2024/25 season. Kerkez, dubbed "world-class" for his performances, has been one of thePremier League's best full-backs this term, and he would likely be an ideal fit in Liverpool's new-look defence.
