Final Injury Report For Nuggets-Thunder Game 7, Will Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray Play?

The Denver Nuggets are on the road on Sunday afternoon as they face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of their second-round series.

Denver was able to force Game 7 with their victory at home in Game 6 on Thursday night and they will now look to steal another game on the road to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

While the Nuggets will try to eliminate the Thunder on Sunday afternoon on the road, they may have to do so without some of their key players as they have listed three of their key players on their injury report.

Denver has listed Jamal Murray as probable due to an illness, Aaron Gordon as questionable due to a left hamstring strain and Russell Westbrook as probable with a right hand sprain.

The good news for Denver is that both Murray and Westbrook are expected to play on Sunday in Game 7.

Of course, Murray was able to play through an illness in Game 6 and he did so at a high level as he finished the game with 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

For Westbrook, he struggled in Game 6 as he finished with only eight points and three rebounds while battling a hand injury.

While Denver is expected to have both Murray and Westbrook available, they may be without Gordon due to a hamstring strain that he suffered late in the fourth quarter of Game 6.

Of course, Gordon missed time during the regular season due to a hamstring strain as the Nuggets were extremely cautious with his injury, but with him reaggravating it on Thursday, his status is now in serious doubt for Game 7.

If Gordon is sidelined, expect Peyton Watson and Julian Strawther to have an increased role off the bench.

On the other side, Oklahoma City will enter Sunday’s game with a clean injury report as the only player listed is Nikola Topic, who is out for the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL.

Fans can catch Sunday’s Game 7 matchup between the Nuggets and Thunder at 3:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
