OKC Thunder-Denver Nuggets Game 7 Injury Report

The Oklahoma City Thunder are at home on Sunday afternoon as they host the Denver Nuggets for Game 7 of their second-round series.

Oklahoma City had a chance to close out the series on the road on Thursday night but Denver was able to pull off the victory to force Game 7.

Now the Thunder will look to pick up a crucial victory at home to advance to the Western Conference Finals as they try to avoid being eliminated in the second round for the second consecutive season.

The good news for the Thunder is that they enter Sunday’s game as the more healthier squad as the only player listed on their injury report is Nikola Topic, who has missed his entire rookie season due to a torn ACL.

With the Thunder’s core healthy, they will try to eliminate a beat-up Nuggets team that has listed three of their key players on their injury report.

Denver has listed both Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook as probable for Sunday’s game while Aaron Gordon has been listed as questionable.

For Murray, he is listed as probable due to an illness but he is expected to play in Game 7 after he was able to play through the illness in Thursday’s victory in Game 6.

Westbrook is also expected to play as he is listed as probable due to a right hand sprain that caused him to struggle in Game 6 on Thursday night.

While both Westbrook and Murray are expected to be available for Sunday’s game, the Nuggets may be without Gordon as he is listed as questionable due to a left hamstring strain.

Gordon suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter of Game 6 and his status in no in doubt for Game 7 on Sunday.

Of course, Gordon dealt with a hamstring strain during the regular season that kept him out for multiple games and that may be the case once again, which would be a massive blow to the Nuggets.

Fans can catch Sunday’s Game 7 matchup between the Nuggets and Thunder at 3:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
