Everton said goodbye to Goodison Park on a high thanks to a 2-0 victory against Southampton on Sunday.
Iliman Ndiaye put his name in Everton history books, scoring both goals on the final day at Goodison in the first half.
Southampton may be a side in horrendous form this season, but that won’t matter for anyone in Blue as they look back at the joy of the day.
Ally McCoist, however, was left shocked by one moment that happened during the game.

McCoist blasts Aaron Ramsdale for Everton goal
Everton were certainly well deserving of their victory against Southampton on Sunday, going out on a high at Goodison Park.

Moyes’ side dominated proceedings, with Jordan Pickford seldom being called into action due to any threat at his end of the pitch.
Ndiaye has been in excellent form for the Blues this term, a rare shining light in what has been a difficult season at times.
Therefore, for him to be the man to score on Goodison turf for the final time, only seems fitting.
While the attacker certainly did well, McCoist was left questioning the actions of those at the other end, with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale being hesitant to commit himself to the shot.
Speaking live on TNT Sports (18 May, 12:59pm), the commentator said: “It’s a shocking goal defensively.
“The goalkeeper has got to come and take that with his hands. On another day, Aaron Ramsdale might be a little bit braver.”

Ndiaye continues to be key for Everton
Several players have upped their standards since the arrival of Moyes on Merseyside, but Ndiaye is one man who can hold his head high knowing he has been at the top of his game throughout the campaign.
In 32 appearances, the 25-year-old has scored nine goals and in an improved side next term, you would expect these numbers to rise.

Ndiaye for Everton this season.
Although Moyes has been able to improve the standards, he will be under no illusions that there is still plenty of work to be done to push the Toffees up the table across the course of a season.
With Ndiaye comfortably under contract, though, he is exactly the type of player that Moyes needs to build his side around as he looks ahead.
Ramsdale certainly could have done better when it came to the goal, but the quality from the Everton man cannot be underestimated either.
