Lonzo believes the Charlotte Hornets star could be on the move this offseason, and not just anywhere, but to the Los Angeles Clippers, if the Hornets manage to land one of the most hyped prospects in the upcoming draft.
"I lowkey got Dylan Harper going to the Hornets, and I got Melo going to the Clips," Lonzo said on the podcast.
Currently, the Hornets hold the No. 4 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, while Dylan Harper is widely projected to go No. 2 overall to the San Antonio Spurs — a team that has reportedly shown no interest in trading their pick.
While the idea of LaMelo Ball returning home to Los Angeles is intriguing, especially to team up with a playoff-caliber Clippers squad, the trade scenario seems like a long shot for now.
