West Ham have ‘come forward’ for striker – Belief Hammers not successful enough for him

West Ham were heavily linked with a move for striker Tammy Abraham last summer. A transfer didn’t go through but the Hammers’ interest in the Englishman is repeatedly covered in Italy.

Calciomercato report the ex-Chelsea player will return to AS Roma from his ongoing loan stint at AC Milan.

After that, he is likely to be sold by the Giallorossi and West Ham have ‘come forward’ for his signature and they want to sign him in the summer.

It will not be easy for Graham Potter’s side to land the 27-year-old, who it’s said would prefer ‘top-tier’ club and the report doubts whether the London side would tempt him for a permanent transfer because of their current league position.

Apart from West Ham, no other English club seems keen on Abraham, who has been linked with a move to Turkey in the past few days.

He’s had an inconsistent season for Milan, scoring three times in Serie A, but his goals proved vital in the Rossoneri’s progress in the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana earlier in the campaign.
