Projected No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, Cooper Flagg, recently interviewed with the Boston Celtics, sparking widespread speculation among fans about a potential future link-up.
After a disappointing end to their season, falling to the New York Knicks in the second round and likely losing Jayson Tatum for all of next year due to an Achilles tear, the Boston Celtics might be gearing up for a shocking move this offseason.

According to Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor, the Celtics have interviewed Duke’s standout forward Cooper Flagg, who is widely projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
This development left fans puzzled, as Boston holds only the 28th pick. The move has sparked speculation that the Celtics could be exploring a blockbuster trade to move up in the draft.
Flagg, a Maine native, has previously expressed that he grew up a huge Celtics fan, making such a trade a dream scenario for him.
However, O’Connor was quick to clarify on The Kevin O’Connor Show that the interview doesn't necessarily mean a trade-up is imminent. For now, the idea remains just speculation.
Still, with the team reeling from injuries and playoff disappointment, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Boston shake things up. The offseason could bring yet another groundbreaking move to the NBA.
