Cunha’s Wolves departure may be imminent, but at least Wolves can reap the rewards on a hefty fee for the forward.
Cunha’s release clause is £62.5m, so Vitor Pereira will have some funds to play with in the summer to replace him.
Who will Wolves buy to replace Matheus Cunha?
Wolves are interested in Harvey Elliott from Liverpool, but the 22-year-old would cost a whopping £50 million, so they may have to look elsewhere.

Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss is available for £22 million, so they could certainly target Vardy’s teammate who would be a superb addition to the Wolves roster.
Whoever does come in will have a huge void to fill, that’s for certain. Only time will tell as to who will be the Brazilian’s long-term replacement.
