Manchester United could re-sign Alvaro Carreras in a £15m deal, to deliver a huge snub to Real Madrid.

United have a buy-back option on Carreras as part of the deal which saw him join Benfica for £5m in 2024.

Reports in Spain claim Real want United to re-sign the defender, before selling him to them for around £30m.
