The Oklahoma City Thunder emerged victorious over the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals.
They were down early after Denver took a 26-21 lead into the second quarter. But once in the second quarter, the Thunder came alive.
They outscored the Nuggets 39-20 and increased that lead every quarter the rest of the way to win 125-93.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sends loud message
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a masterful performance, scoring 35 points on 12-of-19 shooting, including 3-for-4 from deep.
The Thunder benefit from home-court advantage throughout the playoffs after finishing with the NBA's best record.
After their Game 7 win in front of their home fans, Gilgeous-Alexander gave a shout-out to their crowd.
"It feels like no team in the league has homecourt advantage like we do," said Gilgeous-Alexander.
This is the Thunder's first appearance in the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2016.
Awaiting them in the Western Conference Finals are the Minnesota Timberwolves. Led by Anthony Edwards, the matchup between him and the likely MVP in Gilgeous-Alexander looks like a matchup made for TV.
The Timberwolves will have the rest advantage going into the series after wrapping up their series on Wednesday. But for the NBA's youngest team, the Thunder likely won't be impacted much with the quick turnaround with the series starting Tuesday.
If the series goes all the way through seven games, the final game would occur on June 1.
The Thunder are a significant favorite over the Timberwolves, as DraftKings has them as -330 favorites, an implied probability of 76.74%.
