COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Sunday afternoon was tough for Denver Nuggets fans as the team lost 125- 93 to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the conference semifinals.
“Hate to see them go to game 7 in the first place, but down 30 points in the 4th quarter, it’s not looking so hot,” one fan said.
Those watching the game at Viewhouse in Colorado Springs were holding out hope that they would advance to the conference finals, or further.
“It is pretty cool, it’s nice that they made it to a game 7, but it’d be nice to see them go a little bit further than they are,” another fan said.
But despite the loss, fans told 11 News they don’t think this game reflects what was a good season for the Nuggets overall.
“I don’t think this whole season is a reflection of this game entirely, I love the boys coming together,” one fan said, “pulling through the season, tough games, getting to this point is awesome.”
And, it makes them a little more optimistic for next season.
“I hope that we have a little more hope to go to the playoffs again, but other than that, just a winning program,” another fan said.
