Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez has 'liked' an Instagram post that suggests he could be a transfer target for Liverpool this summer. The 21-year-old has been one of the breakout stars of the Premier League season, and such performances have seen him linked with a whole host of top clubs.
Liverpool are thought to be in the market for a new left-back as Andy Robertson is in the final two years of his contract at Anfield and has struggled at times this term, while Kostas Tsimikas has recently been linked with a move to Leeds United. Kerkez, who joined Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in 2023, has been touted as a possible successor for Robertson at Anfield and on Sunday night, the defender fuelled speculation with his activity on Instagram.
The Cherries defender 'liked' a post by journalist Fabrizio Romano that provided an update on Liverpool's pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong and suggested Kerkez was a target for Arne Slot's side.

"Jeremie Frimpong has completed first part of medical as a Liverpool player," wrote Romano. "[The] Dutch right back will formally seal move at Liverpool next week with 5 year contract set to be signed soon."Liverpool also want to add a left back to the squad this summer, with Kerkez among options on the list.…here we go, confirmed ."
Liverpool supporters were quick to notice that Kerkez, who boasts more than 700,000 followers, had liked the post and, in the process, poured fuel on the fire of speculation linking him with a move to Anfield later this year.
Liverpool's hopes of signing Kerkez this summer are likely to be bolstered by the fact that Richard Hughes was the technical director at Bournemouth when Kerkez arrived at the club from AZ Alkmaar two years ago.
The defender is under contract on the south coast until June 2028.
