After the game, the Everton centre-forward posted an emotional message, reflecting on his time at Goodison.
“The first pic by far my most emotional night at Goodison (Palace game), second pic just one from the archives and one of many.
“To be the last player to wear the 9 at Goodison after so many greats before me is something that I’ll forever cherish, a pressure and a privilege.
“Memories that will last a lifetime time, Thank you Goodison Park.”
David Moyes wants Calvert-Lewin to stay
David Moyes is thought to be a massive fan of Calvert-Lewin and even looked at signing him during his West Ham United tenure.
Everton News understands Moyes wants Calvert-Lewin to pen a new deal, but at the moment, he’s still assessing his options.
There is a sense that the 28-year-old really likes working under Moyes and has seen what he’s been able to do with Beto.
So, at this stage, it appears to be a toss-up whether he stays or leaves.
