Tottenham and Manchester United are gearing up for a season-defining encounter in Bilbao.
Just over 48 hours remain until Tottenham face Manchester United in the Europa League final, a game that will define the season for both sides.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side are on course for a 17th-place finish in the Premier League, with Ruben Amorim’s Red Devils not likely to finish much higher, showcasing just how important it will be for both sides to come home with the trophy.
European football is on the line ahead of the game, and it is imperative that Tottenham come away as winners if they want to avoid repeating this season’s failures next time out.
However, Amorim will have the same thing in mind, and in order to combat that, he could make two changes to his starting 11 that fell to defeat away to Chelsea in the last Premier League encounter.

Spurs’ results against United this season.
De Ligt was absent from the Chelsea clash with a knock, but Amorim will be keen to get him in the squad for their biggest game of the season, replacing Luke Shaw.
Patrick Dorgu impressed at Stamford Bridge, winning 10 duels and 80 per cent of his tackles [FotMob], and he is likely to start at left-wing back with Noussair Mazraoui on the opposite side.
Bruno Fernandes struggled to control the midfield last time out, winning just 33 per cent of his ground duels, but he will almost certainly keep his place in the side alongside Casemiro.

Amad Diallo to start v Tottenham
Amad Diallo has been one of the standouts for United this season, meaning Amorim is likely to stick with him after he created two chances against Chelsea, with Mason Mount another expected to drop out.
His display against his former side left a lot to be desired, with the 26-year-old completing zero dribbles, registering a 0 per cent shot accuracy and completing just 11 passes. Manuel Ugarte could replace him, meaning a slight shift for Fernandes into a more advanced role.
Rasmus Hoijlund is expected to lead the line, but after the Danish international won just two of his nine duels last time out, Tottenham won’t be overly intimidated by his presence.
