Now that we’re just over a month into the NBA Playoffs, the Conference Finals have finally arrived.
The Minnesota Timberwolves will face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the West, while the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks will battle in the East.
All four teams have at least one former Kentucky Wildcat on their roster with Julius Randle and Rob Dillingham representing the Timberwolves along with Cason Wallace and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander helping lead the Thunder in the West.
Meanwhile, Isaiah Jackson is currently playing for the Pacers, and Karl-Anthony Towns has helped lead the Knicks to their first Conference Finals since 2000.
The Conference Finals kick off tomorrow night when the Timberwolves visit the Thunder, followed by the Pacers visiting the Knicks on Wednesday.
It’s a rather quick turnaround for the Thunder, considering they were in a Game 7 battle with the Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon.
But they’re also by far the deepest team in the NBA — with full homecourt advantage for the playoffs — which has led to their current odds of -175 to win the NBA title.
