In-demand Mathias Kvistgaarden has declared he is ready to leave Brondby amid fresh interest from Celtic.

The striker has been on Brendan Rodgers ' radar in the last two windows but the Hoops were unable to agree a deal for the Denmark U21 international in January.

After selling Kyogo to Stade Rennes for £10million in the mid-season window, the club were unable to recruit a new frontman.

But with the Irishman still keen to bolster his attacking options with Celtic 's interest in Kvistgaarden remains - while Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly entered the race for a deal.

And the 23-year-old has insisted that he will leave Brondby this summer - if the club grant his wish.

He told TV 2 SPORT: "I think I'm ready. I've made my mark at Brondby and in the Superliga, so I'm ready to take the next step.

"I don't think that's the goal for me - to remain and play with Brondby next season. I can say that without it being wrong."

The Hoops also looks set to land a boost to their coffers with Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong set to complete a move to Liverpool.

The 24-year-old will act as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold - with the Premier League champions set to activate a €40million (£34million) release clause.

The Scottish Premiership champions hold a 30 per cent sell-on clause on the profit Leverkusen made from selling Frimpong to Liverpool - which will see them bank around £5million.

But that isn't the only payday that could be heading to Parkhead - with reports suggesting Matt O'Riley could be on the move after just a year with Brighton.

Reports suggest that clubs from Serie A, Bundesliga and the Premier League are weighing up a move after an impressive end to the season. Celtic are said to hold a 10 per cent sell on clause.

Celtic are reportedly keen on Red Star Belgrade defender Veljko Milosavljevic - alongside Everton and Paris Saint-Germain.

But the Czech side are in no rush to sell the 17-year-old after impressing in his breakthrough campaign.

Red Star have put a bumper €10million (£8.4million) price tag on the highly-rated centre-back, according to Sport.
