Liverpool and Arsenal have been handed a huge transfer boost by longterm target Jonathan David, who has announced he's leaving Lille at the end of the season.
David, 25, has spent the last five years in Northern France, scoring 109 goals in all competitions in that time. He has scored 25 times this season, one few than his tally of 26 for the past two years.
The Canadian has attracted interest from across Europe - including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal on these shores.
And he has now announced he's looking for a new challenge in an emotional Instagram video. "Every story has a beginning and an end," he captioned the video on social media.
"I wanted you to hear it from me, after five years at the club, it is time to say goodbye," he said.

"And it’s been a long and fun ride and especially with those two titles that we won together, I think make the story even better.
"I would like to thank all of my teammates that I played with, coaches, staff members, kit men, medical staff, everyone that has worked at the club that I’ve came in contact with. I’d like to thank you for the work that you’ve done for the team and especially for myself all these years.
