Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has dismissed rumours linking Matheus Cunha with a move to Manchester United, insisting the Brazilian forward is fully focused on his current club.
The 25 year old striker has been at the centre of transfer speculation, with Manchester United said to be keen on securing his services.
Despite Wolves' recent struggles in the league, Cunha's impressive tally of 15 goals and six assists has been crucial in their fight against relegation.
Amidst Monday's reports claiming Cunha was nearing a deal with Old Trafford, Pereira maintained he's in the dark about such developments, stating: "I have the same information as you. I don't know. I just know he's my player."
Pereira emphasised Cunha's dedication to Wolves, noting: "He's committed with the team, he's working with happiness and we will see what happens. You must ask him. He is happy. I feel he is happy."
Looking ahead, Wolves are set to face [FA Cup](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/all-about/fa-cup) champions Crystal Palace on Tuesday, hoping to bounce back from two straight losses.
Crystal Palace, fresh from their Wembley triumph over Manchester City thanks to Eberechi Eze's goal, will be looking to carry their cup-winning momentum into the league.
Pereira offered his congratulations to Oliver Glasner's squad, remarking on the significance of their victory: "I want to congratulate them because it's a huge achievement and is good for football when the small beats the big club."
Pereira acknowledged: "This is competition, they are a very consistent team, good players, good manager and we'll face a strong team but looking for our game, our play, this is the way we prepared for the game.
"We will try to improve from the last game."
Securing the Premier League Manager of the Month award for April, and also being nominated for the Manager of the Season award is a testament to the success of Pereira's work since taking the reins at Wolves. At the time, the team were only five points clear of the drop zone, but under his guidance, they now sit 14th in the table with their top-flight status safely secured.
As Pereira put it, "Our title this season was to transform our situation into a better situation. To come in four games before the end of the season and we stay in the Premier League, but it cannot be the same next season."
However, their focus needs to be on achieving more next season, Pereira insisted: "We need to be consistent from the beginning, to dream with other things. I need a break. I started in Saudi Arabia, it was not easy, tough work, and now it's not time to rest because we need to do a lot of work in the holidays."
