Matheus Cunha is all but certain to leave Wolves this summer – and today there have been more reports about Manchester United.
Matheus Cunha has been on United’s radar for quite a long time now, with the Red Devils keen to fix their issues in the final third.
It has been a season to forget for United, and there’s a very good chance Wolves could end the season above them.
But even in the event of that, it looks like Cunha still wants a move to Old Trafford.
Earlier today, top journalist Fabrizio Romano reported Cunha to United was being ‘finalised’, suggesting it won’t be much longer until the Brazilian is pictured holding a red shirt aloft.
This evening, there is word of when personal terms could be agreed.

Another top journalist Ben Jacobs has tonight provided some additional information about the Cunha to United deal this evening.
He offers a timeline of when Cunha could actually agree personal terms with United – and that is expected to be sorted this week.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
He writes on X: “Manchester United are optimistic of agreeing terms with Matheus Cunha this week. A full agreement on terms is close, as@FabrizioRomano called.

What Pereira said about Cunha
Vitor Pereira commented on Cunha and the links to Manchester United earlier today.
The Portuguese didn’t really give anything away, and insisted he didn’t really know anything. Even if he did though, he was never likely to reveal too much.
He said: “I have the same information as you.
Matheus Cunha for Wolves in 2024/25
Appearances – 34
Minutes played – 2719
Goals – 17
Assists – 6
“I really don’t know. I know he’s my player, and he’s committed. We’ll see, but he’s happy.”
The fresh reports about Cunha today will make Pereira’s team sheet against Crystal Palace very interesting tomorrow night.
Given all the talk, it might just be that the Wolves manager opts to bench him in favour of a player who will definitely be at the club next season.
