Liverpool returns to Premier League action today as it faces Brighton in both teams' penultimate game of the Premier League season.
The Reds last played eight days ago, when Arsenal staged a second-half fightback at Anfield to secure a 2-2 draw, and Slot and his players took advantage of the large amount of time off between games last week as they enjoyed a few days off.
Slot travelled to Ibiza while the players headed to Dubai, but in a press conference last week he warned against reading too much into those trips if Liverpool fails to beat Brighton.
"If we don't get a result there, that has nothing to do with players enjoying a few days off," Slot said. "But that will probably be the story in the media. If we win it, it \[the trips away\] will show as a positive thing... as a journalist you can look at it from both ways."

Hello, hello.
It feels like a long time since Liverpool last contested a game of association football, and in an era of jam-packed fixture schedules, eight days probably does class as a long time.
Liverpool hasn't won either of its two games (away to Chelsea and at home to Arsenal) since securing the title in April, and Arne Slot will be keen for the Reds to return to winning ways against Brighton today ahead of the weekend's title party.
Stick around for updates, if you fancy.
