Mohammed Kudus has endured a challenging season at West Ham, which is in stark contrast to the previous campaign.
A series of lacklustre displays and just seven Premier League goal contributions have led to criticism of the Ghanaian international.
Speaking in the build-up to the Hammers’ clash with Nottingham Forest, Jamie Carragher addressed the winger’s future.

Carragher tips Kudus for West Ham exit
West Ham look poised to lose Kudus, with several clubs chasing a move for the 24-year-old.
The winger enjoyed a magnificent first season in claret and blue in 2023/24, totalling 23 goal contributions in all competitions.

Kudus’ attacking nous and direct wing play made him a real threat for the East London club, but this season he has taken a step back.

Kudus’ form has dropped this season
Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs interested in the Ghanaian, but will have to pay big money to land him.
That could lead to a move to Saudi Arabia, where there is interest and finance to get a deal done.
The Hammers would have been reluctant to sell the midfielder last year, but their stance may have changed after a poor term.
Prior to their loss to Forest, Sky Sports pundit Carragher chimed in love on Sky Sports (18 May) on talk of Kudus’ future.
He said: “While I see that there’s no doubt that he’s a quality player, who should be playing for a team I would say closer to the top of the table than near the bottom right now.
“One of the reasons West Ham are where they are this season is because he hasn’t shown the form that he showed last season.
“Last season he looked fantastic, just hasn’t looked the same player this season, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a change there.”
West Ham must only sell Kudus for right price
Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax for an initial £38million plus add-ons in the summer of 2023.
After his first full season, that figure appeared to be an absolute steal as he emerged as a key player in East London.
However, there are now question marks over his ability because of what has transpired at the London Stadium this campaign.
Whether this has been a blip or a wider problem remains to be seen, but the Hammers must hold out for a substantial fee.
Arsenal are reportedly unwilling to pay more than £50m for the Ghanaian, and the Irons must hold firm in their valuation.
Kudus has shown enough during his time in the capital that he is a top player and can produce at the highest level.
Perhaps his head has been turned by the interest, or maybe he has succumbed to the negativity at the London Stadium.
Whatever the reason, West Ham must take a firm position and only sell him if the price is right.
