After the New York Knicks beat the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, Knicks fans went wild outside Madison Square Garden.
During the commotion, a fan wearing an Indiana Pacers jersey was harassed by New York fans. Knicks fans threw stuff at the Pacers fan, who was simply walking and not talking any trash.
Indiana All-Star Tyrese Haliburton and his teammates saw the video and felt bad for the fan, who was interviewed by Pat McAfee on Monday. Haliburton jumped on the interview call and told the fan he is flying him out for Game 4 of the Knicks-Pacers series.
Haliburton continues to show why he's a great player and role model. This was a wonderful gesture by the talented point guard, who is playing in his second straight conference finals.
The Boston Celtics swept the Pacers in the 2024 conference finals. It will be fascinating to see who wins this year between Indiana and New York.
The 25-year-old Haliburton is averaging 17.5 points and 9.3 assists in the 2025 postseason in 10 games against the Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers. He's shooting 47.4% from the field, 33.8% from beyond the arc and 79.4% from the free-throw line.

The Pacers haven't been to the NBA Finals since 2000. The 1999-00 Indiana squad lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2000 NBA Finals in six games.
The Knicks have home-court advantage in the conference finals against the Pacers. However, Indiana has proven to be a good road team in this year's postseason.
Haliburton and Co. are 4-1 on the road in the 2025 playoffs.
