Sunday night had the chance to be chaotic. And in some aspects and a few Serie A fixtures, it certainly was. Thankfully for Juventus, they weren’t necessarily part of all that craziness.
Instead, they just took care of their business.
Was it a particularly appealing 2-0 win over Udinese in the season finale at the Allianz Stadium? No, not at all. For about an hour, we were left wondering when, exactly, Juventus’ breakthrough against a Udinese side that just sat back and defended for much of the night. But once that breakthrough came and then the win was secured, Juventus were guaranteed of going into the final week of the 2024-25 season with destiny still in their hands.
Juventus are alone in fourth place, a point ahead of Roma and two in front of Lazio. That is how things look as the Bianconeri head to Venica this coming weekend with both teams having plenty to play for.
