Adidas is reportedly set to give fans a feel of the past with their release of Liverpool 1995-96 Remake Collection.

The switch, confirmed in March 2025, has been met with widespread enthusiasm among fans eager to see the iconic three stripes return to Anfield.
Nike, which brought Liverpool £30 million a year plus 20% of merchandise sales, had its moments.
However, the new deal with Adidas, which will run through the 2029-30 season, is expected to generate substantial revenue for Liverpool, with reports indicating earnings of more than £60 million annually.
The new partnership marks Liverpool’s third stint with the German sportswear giant.
Adidas last supplied Liverpool kits from 2006 to 2012 and previously from 1985 to 1996.
Their designs are iconic, and some fans still fondly remember the classics.
Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan expressed excitement about rekindling the partnership: “Adidas and Liverpool share an ambition of success, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner together again as we look forward to creating more incredible kits to help drive on-pitch performance.”
According to Footy Headlines, the German sportswear giants are set to introduce a kit collection that older fans will love.
According to the website, which has correctly predicted many of the club’s jerseys even before their official releases, Adidas intends to release a remake of Liverpool FC’s iconic 1995-96 away collection, including the classic green and white quartered shirt and matching off-pitch gear.
The website also reported that the sporting brand “will bring back Liverpool’s 1995-96 training shirt as part of the LFC 1995-96 remake collection,” adding that “the first Adidas Liverpool remake collection is expected to be available in early 2026, but it might be released earlier.”
The first Adidas Liverpool remake collection will include the classic 1995-96 away shirt with its distinctive green and white quartered pattern, along with matching off-pitch gear.
The items are expected to feature the original Carlsberg sponsor, with the classic designs coming as part of Adidas’s broader strategy of reviving older football jersey designs that have achieved cult status among collectors and supporters.
