Geordie Boot Boys have been told that Newcastle want Isak to be their highest paid player, as they prepare to sit down with the forward’s representatives after the 2024/25 season draws to a close.
All the while, clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal want to sign Isak. However, the belief is that he will be far too expensive.

That is Newcastle United’s position, with the club confirming their stance to Isak himself.
That is according to the Telegraph, who report that Isak has been told by Newcastle United that they will not be selling him this summer.
The Magpies have no intention of letting the Sweden international leave, while the player himself knows exactly what he wants when it comes to the looming contract negotiations.
The Telegraph add that Isak is looking to receive the level of wages he could get elsewhere, which means Newcastle will need to pay him more than £200,000-a-week.
