It’s very clear that Triple H and WWE couldn’t be happier about the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
Last summer, WWE teased a potential match between the New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson and the Indiana Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton. Almost a year later, those two will meet on the court head-to-head for the right to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals.
Knicks player Josh Hart recently commented on Brunson and Haliburton appearing on WWE programming last year, stating he believes a lot of NBA players will be trying to get on RAW or SmackDown this summer.
“Yeah, WWE writes a great script,” Josh Hart said. “There’s gonna be a lot of guys that’s going to be trying to get on WWE this summer”
Apparently, Triple H agrees with Hart’s comments and took to social media to respond, potentially teasing something for SummerSlam, tweeting out:
“My phone hasn’t stopped buzzing since Friday. #SummerSlam is coming to @MetLifeStadium in August…,” Triple H said in a post.
